the surface is actually same as the back of a Swiss watch which is durable and won’t leave finger print. the carbon metal tone makes it less shining than we thought. the sound system is from bang & olufsen. and now existed in pink too.

looks like a great ultrabook but i am taking a liking to the hp spectre. covered in gorilla glass 2, 14″ display in a 13″ casing, the screen looks amazing, and all of that for $200 more than the zenbook. although i really like this design. if they were to make an updated version following in hp’s footsteps i would definitely buy it.

Asus is stupid for selling it at that price!

Too expensive. It really fails if they price it equal to Macbook Air. Then there’s no reason to buy it

18 sec! Why would i get a chromebook?!

i wouldn’t pay for something like this but would not mind winning one or maybe get one for free in the future.

does this get hot or loud?

Do you have a suggestion for a light laptop with a decent amount of CPU and a good Video Card? I don’t need a 17″ or anything. Also I want it to be relatively cheap. I’m in high school so I got to keep it nice and dirt cheap but I’m willing to splurge a little on a PC.

It’s between this and the Asus 1015bx, which to choose which to choose!

@NJMevec2 – You’d want something with a discrete GPU for game development, not an ultrabook like this. There are plenty of lighter machines out there with discrete GPUs though.

@xwoahxitsxnickx – Definitely. It’s not going to be a strong multimedia machine but fine for movies etc, just not a gaming setup.

Blargh! Background music!

I’m going to get this for the high school in going too, would it be good just as a school work laptop?

that so sexy @.@

It’s cool. Wrong cool factor as nutnfancy would say. It looks pretty, is new, but useless for me. I’m learning game development. I literally NEED a DVD/Blu-Ray drive. Also it’s too small. For that price I’ll save another $1000 and pick up the best MacBook Pro available!

this product is stupid and pointless, same as macbook air. it’s thin and light… but it has no DVD, good cooling, performance and price. I rather get a thicker laptop for a better performance.

Definately im getting one of these
